Training will include classroom instruction, material and supplies and hands-on learning on industry-leading equipment. Students who complete the certification course will be placed in a 160-hour paid internship. Support services will also include job placement with local broadband employers.
About the Program
Pharr Connect U started as part of a greater effort by the City of Pharr to bridge the digital divide – close the gap created by lack of access to affordable, reliable internet service and technology skills.
